Take Me Out the TV show, was first aired on ITV in 2010 and Paddy’s laid back northern sense of humour meant it became a Saturday night hit.
Paddy arrived on our TV screens with friend Peter Kay in the hit series, Phoenix Nights, he also joined Kay in ‘That Peter Kay Thing’ and ‘Max and Paddy’s Road To Nowhere’. The shows were hugely popular and Paddy was on his way to a successful TV career. He has now hosted and presented many TV programmes, as well as touring the UK extensively with his solo stand up comedy show.
Similar to the 80s dating show Blind Date, Take Me Out features a lot more contestants, there are 30 single women in search of the perfect date and they are introduced to several bachelors one by one. Each of the ladies stands at a lighted podium and if she likes the look of the guy she keeps her light on, if he doesn’t match up to her expectations she switches her light off and waits for a better prospect.
As well as the new bingo game, developers Gamesys, also produced a number of slot games and instant win games on the Take Me Out theme. Chief operating officer at Gamesys, Lee Fenton, said “This is a great opportunity for us to take a much loved UK TV brand and together with Fremantle Media, develop a suite of games that will stay true to the programme’s format as well creating exceptional game experiences for our customers.”
Jackpot Joy‘s Take Me Out bingo game closely follows the TV shows format. It’s a 75 ball game and players must cross out numbers in a particular pattern to win, rather than marking off all the numbers. This bingo game is easy to play so just be the first to mark off those fifteen numbers in a heart shaped pattern and you’ll be in line for a cash windfall.
Just like the TV show there are 30 lighted podiums which are numbered, as the number is called the light goes out. As well as producing the overall winner, the lights left on at the end of the game determine whether there will be a Jackpot giveaway or Free ticket allocation.
To qualify for a share of the community Jackpot you must purchase a minimum of 6 tickets. Players who have bought at least six bingo tickets for the game will be eligible for an equal share of the Jackpot. The Jackpot will be triggered if at least 18 or more lights remain on when the game is won and there is also the chance to win some free consolation tickets for the next game.
Take Me Out Bingo has a good return to player of 80.99% – 85.45% and has proved to be one of Jackpot Joys most popular online bingo games. You don’t need to wait until Saturday night, join Paddy and the girls for some Saturday night fun any day of the week at Jackpot Joy.
